Hope you are doing well. It's beginning of new month with new challenge at AAA Birthday Challenge #79 Music Theme 🎼🎸

Lets see how I made this card for the theme 🤗

I have taken colored cardstock and stamped music notes as a background of my card using clear embossing ink. This gave a subtle tone to the card. 

In-hand I had few colored images, critters are from MFT & Lawn fawn. It's self explanatory simple card. 

Finished the card with a birthday sentiment & few sequins to add that extra love to the card 🤗🥰

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #78 - Ombre Color Inspired Birthday Card

Hello my Crafty Friends,

Thank you so much for stopping by here , and I'm grateful for your love and support for my creative journey. As I was MIA for more than 4-5 months, we recently moved to Blore from our native place as my husband's work demanded. Packing things & settling with new place took some time for me. 

Still my craftroom aren't functioning as before but I wanted to get back to it. So I decided to start making my favourite cards for AAA birthday challenge & so here with a new inspiration card for this month.

Coming to my card today, it's simple ombre colors inspired card for the ongoing challenge at AAA Birthday 🎂 I choose the blue green hues of colors and ink blended the A2 top folded card half sided using distress inks. Blended all the colors until I was satisfied. 

I chose a big floral stamp from Pinkfreshstudio and stamped it on the blended background with versafine onxy black ink. Also for an added interest, used water droplets to pick up the colors for distress look and choose to add splatters using the inks used for ink blending. 

Finished the card with a birthday sentiment & few sequins to add that extra pyaaar to the card 🤗🥰

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #70 Ink Smooshing - Tweet Birdie Birthday 🎂 🤩

 Hola Friends,

Hope you are doing well and here we are in the love month of the year already 🤗 💕 

New month comes with new inspiration, & here it is a new challenge at AAA Birthday Card Challenge # 70 - Ink smooshing 🎨

In today's card I have made a simple yet beautiful background using a technique called Ink Smooshing 🤩 

Have you tried this technique?! I chose a watercolor paper for the same and distress inks as colors. Cardstock was prepped for wet on technique and inks on the plastic wrapping paper. Smooshed some inks with sprayed water and transferred the inks to paper by dabbing them. 

Used prepared ink- smooshed background for die cutting the word - Birthday and used black cardstock to highlight the same !! Colored few critters using alcohol markers and adhered them to the card panel using foam square. 

This panel was later pasted to white A2 cardstock.

As it's almost last day of the first month of year, finally I pulled up my socks and tried to play with ongoing inkypaws challenge by Newton's Nook. 

This Summer Scoop Stampset was in stash my from long time. I thought to use them for today's card. 

Stamped them on an alcohol friendly paper and colored as per the color palette. Using foam tapes adhered them on the cherry red cardstock and heat embossed the sentiment. To add more depth added a punched panel for added interest :)

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #68 - Lovely Layers 💌

 Hiii my crafty friends,

Hope you are doing well and here we are in the last month of the year already!!! 🤗 

New month comes with new inspiration, & here it is a new challenge at AAA Birthday Card Challenge #68 - Lovely layers 😉 

My take is a very simple shaker birthday card which makes recipient happy and feels like kid again' 😆

Self explanatory card - Here I have used pattern paper & large die from lawn fawn. 

Inlaid Happy Birthday diecut with the pattern paper and shaker window beneath it. To add a little shine used a diecut in glitter paper and placed everything on the A2 top folding base card !! And that's it :)

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #67 - Favourite Image 🖼️

 Hello my crafty friends, 

How are you all ?! I hope you are doing great 😃 It's November already!! And here in India we are lined up with festivals. We celebrated Navaratri, now followed by Deepawali 🪔 We look forward to this to celebrate with our families & loved ones 🤩 

Coming to today's inspiration I'm back to share a simple card that's made for AAA Birthday Challenge #67 Favourite Image 🖼️😃

My take is as simple as that - 

I chose few colors to make background of my own. On an A2 sized cardstock I made an abstract design using alcohol markers and filled them later stamped an floral image on that with Black ops Versafine Onyx. 

Added few faux splatters using black pen 🙈 Sentiment strip is again handwritten 😊  I chose this image as I wanted to give a silhouette effect on my card and added my own touch 🤩

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #66 Circle Shaped ⭕🎂💌

 Hello there crafty buddies,

To all my lovely crafty friends, How have you been ?! Hope you all are enjoying your last days of summer and welcoming fall season 🍁🍂 

I enjoyed with family and friends as we had a wedding in the house (most awaited one 💕) and took a small break from crafting. But its time to gear up and finish half done projects to get back that memento 🤗 Isn't it ?!

How often you have made shaped cards ?!

I love to create cards with different shapes and my favourite is circle shaped card 🤩 If you are wondering why I'm asking this ?! Because we have new theme at AAA Birthday Challenge #66 Circle Shaped Card. 

It means -  your card should be a circle shape, not just a card with circles on it. 

Today's inspiration is as simple as that, and self explanatory too !! I have used a pattern paper & plain cardstock for the base and used a coloured floral on top it. 

Took a black circle shaped cardstock and adhered pattern paper & plain white cardstock over it leaving a small spacing . I used alcohol markers to color my images. It was adhered to the base using foam squares to add a little dimension. 

Stamped a birthday sentiment on the plain area and added faux black dots using pointed pen (inspired by Carly Tee) Finished a card with sequins ✨

ColorPalooza - Altenew 2024

 Hiii all, 

This post is little special because my little one has colored this and entering for ColorPalooza - Altenew 2024 🤩 

Other day she was sad that she couldn't color this last sheet as she ran out of time!! When we got to know to that contest has extended, she insisted to get a printout of the same. 

As she was down with viral, she didn't attended school from past 3-4 days. This made her day and as mine !! 

I'm super proud of her as she did everything without my intervention:) and loved how it turned out 🤩❤️ 

Kids always amaze with these little things 🤗

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #63 Fabulous flowers

 
Hello 🤗 my crafty buddies, 

It's been a long time that I haven't showed up here !?! I took a small break as I needed it 😶 I missed my craftspace and was so happy to be back !! 

Today I have inspiration for our monthly AAA Birthday Challenge 63# Fabulous flowers 🌼 

I have used solid stamping technique for today's card. Stampset is from Indian brand called Mudra. Since the focal point should be on florals I tried to keep the background in subtle colour.

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #60 Shaker ✨💖🧁🥳

Hello my Crafty friends,

Summers are full on swing mood ☀️🏖️ Miss A has conquered my craft space with her new goodies. She is eager to explore my craft supplies and she wants to learn how to use them 😂😜 I'm excited as well to see what she comes up with her ideas. 

Coming to today's post , it's card made for AAA Birthday Challenge #60 - Shaker. Isn't it a fun to use shaker elements in a simple card !! 🤩

To be frank, I wasnt a fan of shaker card until today's card even though it cheers up the recipient. It was mostly due to the foam tape that I was using before. Over the time the tape would open up was my fear to trying this out. It upsets a perfectionist like me if it opens up when given to recipient. 

When I was talking about my concern with my dear friend Disha, she suggested to try out infinite shaker card. And that's what my card for today's post

It's self explanatory card, I choose an ink blended background with shaker elements in the packing sheet and adhered the 'Big Birthday Wishes' diecut on the top of shaker window.

~ AAA Colourful Challenge #2 - Guest Designing

Hello my crafty friends,

I'm here with a new colorful card for a brand new challenge in town called AAA Colourful -Colour theme challenges. I'm guest designing for the current month and the mood board is just intriguing 🤩💟 

This month mood/colour board is as below: 

Summer is full on with humid weather in here Mangalore, India !! Also Miss A annual exams ☺️ I wanted to keep my inner self calm so used watercolors after a very long time 🥰 Without further delay sharing inspiration : 

The Stampset is from Simon Says Stamp - Delicate flowers. I have used antique lenin distress ink for stamping and used zig markers to colour them. Tried no line colouring to give natural affect. Fussy cut them and colored their edges with respective colors. 

Some white and golden splatters, die cut frame beneath. Arranged the florals and leaves with foam squares & others with liquid glue to create dimensions. Once I was satisfied added sequins of matching colors and finished off my card. 

I struggle with arrangements of florals and adding layers with floral composition. Do let me know few go to techniques that you follow so that I can use them in my next cards. 🤗

Here is my take on the same , I chose few colored cardstock and cut them in triangle shapes and adhered them to A2 card base. 

I'm using sentiment which is hand lettered and few sequins to finish off my card 🤩

~ Heart'y Birthday Wishes 🌈🥳🎂

 Hi my Crafty friends,

Its a 1st day of a new month- February already !? We have a new challenge at AAA Birthday Challenge #58 Hearts 💕 How not to incorporate the heart theme with birthday when its February month ?! Isn't it ?!

 

For today's card inspiration I chose to make pastel rainbow heart theme as initial design. I punched out heart diecuts from a strip of paper and colored them using alcohol markers. Also used Wonky Stitched Rectangle STAX die on a kraft cardstock and an oval die to make a window. 

Adhered white texture note card to the kraft die cut window. Colored Heart die cut is pasted on one another using liquid glue and mounted on the textured background using foam tape. For sentiment I chose to write on my own and tried my hands on brush calligraphy 🙊

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #57 Rainbow or Rainbow colors 🌈

New Year with new hopes , we are coming up with new challenge at AAA Birthday Challenge #57 i.e Rainbow or Rainbow colors 🌈 which would be cheerful to start a year with lovely rainbow inspired card 🤗

I chose to use a rainbow color inspired ink blended background for my card and Happy Birthday die to cut it and used negative space and adhered everything on white A2 card base. 

I hardly can't resist using sequins in my card projects 🙊 Lastly I added few sequins to add little interest to the card 🤩

~ AAA Birthday Challenge #56 Add a Tag 🔖🎂🥳

 Hi my Crafty friends,

It's a last month of the year already !!!! Hope all are busy with preparation for Christmas already 🎄 🎁 

But today I have a new card that's made for AAA Birthday Challenge - 56 Add a Tag

I have attempted a masculine birthday card with tag attached. It was a quick card but choice of colours made it easily as I had a pattern paper that matched my colored lil guy 😊

Little guy is from the Scooby Mysteries stampset from Craftyscrappers and I colored him using alcohol markers. Sentiment & patterned paper was gifted by Jane from Janedoodles :) I have used rounded tag Punch from dress my craft. Lastly for the little bing the used few sequins here and there !! Viola it's ready:)
