~ nothing is better than a TRUE FRIEND 👯💛💚💗🎕

 Hello Everyone,

I am back again with this beautiful floral card which is dedicated to my dear friend Disha. She is a avid crafter with a kind and beautiful soul. She is been a constant cheerleader to me and I want to THANK YOU DISHA for everything :) 😘

Today's card has a simple watercolor floral panel with the dry embossing on the right side :) I have used small flowers from Garden Treasure stamp set.

I have masked the big flower and added small ones along with leaves around. I have colored them using the zig markers in the shades of pink , yellow and green which is also the colors of Altenew's January Inspirtation Challenge. I had also stamped small flowers separately and fussy cut them which was adhered flat on the lower side of the side.

To give a dramatic look to the panel, I chose a loose watercolor shades around the flowers and added splatters :)  This panel is adhered on olive based cardstock with sentiment on the black strip

Hope you like this card, do let me know how it has turned out in the comments below.

Sending You Oceans of Love 💞

Hello my Crafty Friends,

Hope you all are doing well. This week was more for resting and taking care of health as we all were tested positive. Since I had to be isolated I could make today's card for the current MFT sketch challenge.

It has many of its first's 😍 I wanted  to try my hands in several things 😆 Cute Mermaid is colored using alcohol markers ( my first try ) and background was of course ink blending (my favorite technique) also bubble (using pencils ) . I was inspired by Rahmat mam card (bubble tutorial) and wanted to try it here.

Background was made using the distress inks and the colors I chose was Chipped Sapphire, Mermaid Lagoon & Peacock feathers. For bubble I have used polychromes pencils in the shades of blue, purple yellow, green and orange. Fun part is splatters of white. Below is the close up pic of the mermaid.

The card design and arrangement is very simple and self explainable. As I said earlier, it was made for MFT Sketch Challenge - 577

Hope you like my take on the challenge . I would be happy if you would share your feedback on the same in the comment below.

I Love You So Mush !!! 💓

Hi dear Crafty Friends,

How are you all ? Hope you all are safe and enjoying the upcoming season of love. I guess you guys must be busy making some Valentine's day inspired cards by now 😃

Today I have a card made using a stamp sets from Lawn Fawn called 'mermaid-for-you'. I have stamped the critters on a watercolor cardstock, colored using the zig markers. These are fussy cut images. I love making shaped cards and wanted this card to be in circle shaped. Few die cuts are made using the circle dies both in colored cardstock and the vellum. For the ocean effect I have used  stitched-windy-backdrop and stitched-wave-borders. All the elements were adhered to the base using foam and liquid adhesives. At last added few clear pearls using the glossy accents. I choose a red cardstock for the sentiment which says I love you so mush !!! It was heat embossed and hand cut :)

This card is just perfect for the coming season of LOVE 💖 I love making shaped cards and I Hope you like this too. Do let me know how it is and share your thoughts in the comment section below. I would be happy to read your comments :)

Thank you so much for stopping by ,

A Little Note of Thanks :)

 Hi Crafty Friends ,

Starting a  year with a little note of thanks through this card to all my crafty friends and everyone here for encouraging and supporting :)

We have a new challenge at our monthly collaboration under #craftingwithcraftyfriend .  The challenge of this month is to use the Cue from our Initials and combine it with card making techniques. In my case its D & J , I have used debossing + die cutting along with a jute chord for todays card.

I have used few colored / inked cardstocks and took a flower die cuts out of it. Adhered few green strips to the stem of the flower and used a jute chord. Added a small birdie with a note saying " A Little Note of Thanks " as a sentiment for the card. This technique was so new to me and I completely enjoyed making it. Hope you like it too :)

Love and Hugs,

Deekshita :)
